Brenton Lewis

General Manager

Brenton oversees the Management of GTE. He is a local, born in Mt Gambier, with an extensive background in Administration, Financial Management, OH&S and Human Resources. Brenton commenced at GTE in 2000, following a career path with state and local government and private industry. Brenton is committed to the delivery of the best practice services and is passionate in maintaining GTE as the leading provider of Apprenticeships Services in the Region.

Greg Megaw

Field Officer

Greg has been employed by Group Training Employment since April 2000 as a Field Officer; dealing mainly with building trades apprenticeships. He is a licensed Master Plumber who has worked in that industry for twenty years. Having grown up in Mt Gambier, Greg is quite well known amongst his peers in the building trades area. Greg's commitment to apprentices and business led to him being named South Australian and then "National Field Officer of the Year" at the National Awards in 2007.

Bill Chant

Field Officer

Bill has been employed by Group Training Employment since March 2002 as a Field Officer managing the fields of Plastering, Metal Fabrication both heavy and light, Automotive heavy road transport, earthmoving, agricultural and small engines, this being the field that Bill has spent his previous twenty plus years. Bill has been the state manager for Stihl Australia for 10years before starting his own business Chants Sales and Service. Over the years Bill has accumulated a range of skills and practical experience in engineering, automotive and customer service and satisfaction.

Charlie Matthews

Field Officer

Charlie joined the GTE team as a Field Officer in early 2008. He has an engineering trade background as a Fitter & Turner, working locally since completing his apprenticeship. Charlie provides advice and assistance to hosts and apprentices in the entire South East region. As Charlie is Millicent based he is better servicing the Southern Ports and the Upper South East Regions.

Ann-Marie Doman

Sales & Marketing Officer

Ann-Marie is the Sales & Marketing Officer at GTE. Ann-Marie has grown up in the local area and is a former apprentice. She has a background in small business and realises the challenges small business face. Ann-Marie has a real understanding of the local community and business needs.

Luke McLaughlin

Field Officer

Luke commenced work with GTE late November 2009. He has 11 years experience in the timber industry and a background in IT and Management. Born and bred in Mount Gambier Luke knows the local area and businesses. Luke will be servicing various industries around the South East.

Cheryl Jarman

Finance Officer

Cheryl works behind the scenes in finance, dealing with payroll, hire rates, tools for your trade vouchers, RTO fees and other government incentives in relation to apprentices and trainees. She is an important part of the team, and is the person who can help with your payroll queries.
